Creation of a favorable working environment

In 2018 Rosneft continued the systematic work aimed to create decent working conditions at the Company's production and utility facilities. An important role is assigned to the development of 95 rotation and shift camps, where about 35,000 employees of the Company and contracting companies were accommodated by the end of 2018.

Rosneft ensures decent conditions of work and recreation for the employees engaged in its activity in further-flung regions and complicated climatic conditions. Unified standards of design, construction and operation of rotation camps, equipping the support bases of brigades, sections and shops. In 2018 a number of inspections of service vendors providing food, accommodation and comprehensive service for rotation camps of the Company was carried out.

Also active work aimed to improve living conditions for drilling brigades has been done in the reporting period. Particularly, methodological guidelines have been designed to establish unified technical requirements for the design of administrative and residential buildings of the block-modular type, mobile units of various functional purposes, modular design, as well as the heating unit for shift personnel. As the results of these measures conditions of living and work of the drillers were significantly improved.

Upkeeping and complex maintenance of production and social facilities within the reported year costed 7.6 bln. rubles. Capital investment for shift camps, support bases for brigades, dections and shops construction, reconsruction, developmet and equipping amounted to 8 bln. rubles.
